KN Literary Arts is the creation of twenty-year publishing veteran Kelly Notaras. After starting her career in New York City—working as an editor for HarperCollins, Penguin USA and Hyperion Books—she relocated several years ago to Boulder, Colorado, where she served for four years as the VP and editorial director at Sounds True, a multimedia spirituality publishing company. There she oversaw an impressive list of spiritual luminaries, including Adyashanti, Reggie Ray, Krishna Das, Sharon Salzberg, Pema Chodron, Caroline Myss, and many more.
In 2010 she left Sounds True to ghostwrite her first book, but her love of editing was never far away. Since starting KN Literary Arts, she has been honored to edit a wide variety of personal-growth books, including New York Times bestsellers The Tapping Solution by Nick Ortner and Pussy: A Reclamation by Regena “Mama Gena” Thomashauer, as well as all three of Nancy Levin’s popular books: Jump . . . and Your Life Will Appear, Worthy and The New Relationship Blueprint. With 23 years of experience at Brilliance and Amazon Publishing, Amy Hosford’s areas of expertise (and where she has the most fun!) include facilitating collaborative and creative author experiences, people leadership and career development, managing author, agent, and publisher relations, strategic planning, and helping teams to implement and achieve their annual growth goals.
Amy’s passion for the arts runs deep! In addition to supporting not-for-profit literary arts initiatives, she also works in the healing arts as a trained Clarity Breathwork practitioner. When she’s not working, she balances her time supporting the West Michigan Symphony as a board member, she takes regular classes at the downtown yoga studio and taps into all the local natural resources in her hometown of Muskegon, Michigan.

Dan has worked with conscious businesses and nonprofits across diverse sectors—from transformational coaches and educational programs to cultural storytelling initiatives and fintech startups—all led by founders committed to spiritual growth and conscious leadership. He’s helped clients navigate rapid growth, prepare for fundraising rounds, recover from cash crunches, and change habits that don’t serve their mission—moving them from reactive financial management to proactive strategy with clear cash flow models, sustainable pricing structures, and forecasts that guide confident decision-making.
When he’s not working with reports and forecasts, Dan can be found chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo (look it up!), supporting his local Buddhist organization, going on runs in nature, or enjoying a nice Korean spread with his wife.
Erin has a proven talent for spotting market opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and creating innovative programs that expand the reach and impact of books and authors.
Before joining KNLA, Erin served as both a Senior Editor and Head of Demand Marketing for Amazon Publishing and earlier in her career, she was an Acquisition Editor for the beloved For Dummies series at Wiley Publishing, growing the brand’s reach across retail and digital channels.
A lifelong advocate for storytellers, Erin believes in the power of books to inform, inspire, and connect us. Whether working with debut authors or established voices, she approaches each project with curiosity and care—always seeking the heartbeat of a story and the audience it’s meant to reach. She lives in Portland, Maine, with her family and a growing collection of books she swears she’ll read “next.
Becki Ruh is a Publishing Consultant for KN Literary Arts. An adventurer and explorer at heart, she’s also a trained Holistic Health Coach. With over a decade of experienced intuition and drive, she’s passionate about helping others pursue their most vibrant expression of life!
Becki transitioned through roles in Corporate America to a natural health entrepreneur in the Virgin Islands to a Publishing Consultant and Writer in Residence, currently based in Wyoming. She’s following her dream of becoming a published author and is thrilled to be supporting KNLA clients throughout their own writing journey.
Melissa Drozda is a relationship-driven sales and development professional who specializes in helping authors and thought leaders find the right path forward for their books. With a background in nonprofit fundraising, business development, and strategic consulting, she brings a thoughtful, client-centered approach to every conversation, prioritizing alignment, trust, and long-term partnership.
Melissa is passionate about supporting authors who bring meaningful stories and ideas into the world. She is also a Clarity Breathwork practitioner and Reiki Master with a deep interest in personal growth and transformational storytelling.
Outside of work, Melissa is a mom to three boys and loves hiking, traveling, and spending time in nature.
Jillian Abby is a collaborative writer, coach, and publishing consultant with KN Literary Arts. Her unconventional career path—from CPA to craniosacral therapy practitioner, serial entrepreneur, and award-winning author—gives her a unique ability to capture the voice and vision of the authors she serves.
Her memoir, Perfectly Queer (Hay House, 2023), was selected by Good Morning America as a recommended spring read and praised for its honesty, depth, and heart. Drawing from diverse experiences across corporate, wellness, and creative industries, Jillian helps clients shape compelling narratives that resonate with their audiences and create meaningful impact.
She is passionate about storytelling as a tool for connection and social change and is honored to walk alongside each author in bringing their story to life. Jillian lives in Tampa Bay on a suburban banana farm with her wife, two kids, a three-legged dog named Lava, and two persnickety rescue cats, Poe and Pillbug.
Jill Esplin is a life and business coach who is an energetic, positive powerhouse. By leveraging her strong people skills and entrepreneurial spirit, she propels the success of individuals and companies. With a thirst for learning, she has steered her career in different directions with success at every turn. After college, Jill started Leading For Life, a motivational speaking and leadership development company for teens. Though she found this career rewarding and fruitful, Jill felt called to expand her work when she met a best-selling author in 2010. Jill has worked closely with top authors, teachers, and entrepreneurs in the personal growth industry. She specializes in coaching and business development with expertise in enrollment and producing live events. Her program sales total over $15 million dollars to date. In 2012, Jill graduated from the University of Santa Monica with a Master’s in Spiritual Psychology with an emphasis on Consciousness, Health and Healing. Jill is currently based in Los Angeles but can be found anywhere in the world as long as there is Wi-Fi.
Sheryl Zajechowski brings 25 years of publishing experience to KN Literary. Her previous roles at Brilliance Publishing in sales, contracts, and editorial give her a broad perspective of the end-to-end publishing process for both audio and books. During her time as an audio acquisition editor she was responsible for a list of hundreds of titles, including New York Times bestsellers, across a wide range of genres. Sheryl also worked on the Amazon Publishing Waterfall Press imprint, where two of her acquisitions were selected as Romance Writers of America RITA Award finalists. Sheryl made author happiness a top priority and was a passionate advocate for her titles, earning her the respect of literary agents and her peers.
Sheryl has completed the Publishing Institute at the University of Denver and the Rebellious Leader women’s leadership program, as well as publishing courses through the Graham School of Business at the University of Chicago. She serves on the board of directors for READ Ottawa, an adult literacy organization, and volunteers on community investment panels for her local United Way. Sheryl recharges by spending time on her yoga mat, walking her Golden Retriever near Lake Michigan, and escaping with a stack of books to her little cabin in the woods.
Lindsay Michko is a lifelong book enthusiast with a passion for learning and a keen eye for details. She has spent much of her career in the publishing world, but previous work includes photography, marketing, and copywriting. Lindsay holds a BA in Environmental Studies with minors in Visual Arts and Writing & Literature, and is a trained professional consulting astrologer. She spends her free time learning new things, listening to records, and enjoying life in the Colorado Front Range.
